Ricardo Rodríguez-La Rosa Pratt
Ricardo studied Social Sciences in Costa Rica and is a native English speaker (he comes from an English maternal family). He is also a widely experienced teacher, with over 14 years of experience under his belt. He has taught Teaching Methodology as a Second Specialty as well as Business English, and has worked in education projects for both public and private institutions. He has additionally worked as a Communications Manager, Editor in Chief, and Translator and Interpreter, and currently writes essays. Ricardo has spent the past 6 years preparing applicants for the most challenging International Exams, including the GMAT, GRE, TOEFL and IELTS. He has also passed our rigorous selection process with flying colors and undergone our intense GMAT Dudes Verbal Training for Teachers, learning the GD Methodology, which he combines with his own experience to create the “perfect lessons.”
His hobbies include playing musical instruments (electric guitar is his favourite one by far), horseback riding, trekking, cooking, reading, writing, and bartending. He is a patient, highly committed and friendly teacher, who believes methodology and constant practice make a great GMAT applicant.
